Sometimes It's the Simplest Thing

My good deed wasn't for a stranger yesterday. It was much less complicated.

My fiance is one of the hardest workers I know. He was definitely born with that manly "I'm the provider" instinct. Since we purchased our home in June, he has been working his rear end off day after day removing wallpaper, patching walls, painting, ripping out carpet, and moving our furniture. During all of this, he has continued to work a full-time job that requires a lot of travel. He continues to be a loving partner and a kick-ass dad. He takes on so much, yet I feel as if I don't always do the best job at showing him my appreciation.

This week, I've been trying to give him a break, especially since he hasn't been feeling well. I'm taking the reins and bringin' it home so to speak by taking care of 'Lil Bit, fixing dinner, cleaning up, and then going to the old house to pack up the rest of the smaller stuff and get it all cleaned up. It has been hard, exhausting work, but he totally deserves to just lay around for a few nights.
